Mike Brown, Founder

With more than 20 years’ experience in Financial Services across a range of corporate firms, Mike founded Crystal Clear Financial Services in 2009 to deliver the personal service he knew clients were looking for. As a Diploma-qualified adviser and a Member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals, Mike is renowned for his determination to get the most suitable deal, and his sense of eternal optimism!
Mike specialises in business protection and mortgages, and clients return to him for his knowledgeable advice and problem-solving skills.
Outside the business, Mike is the proud Dad of two children, a keen cyclist and runner, and has a love of BBQs! A keen guitarist and singer/songwriter, Mike always looks forward to some down time away from the phone.
Tazrina Robinson, Operations Manager
Tazrina joined Crystal Clear Financial Services in February 2021 and is now the firm’s Operations Manager. With over ten years’ experience in financial services, she plays a key role in ensuring the business runs smoothly, supporting the team and continually improving processes to deliver an exceptional experience for both clients and advisers.
Tazrina is CeMAP qualified and was awarded the Barclays Values Award for East Region Mortgages in 2020. Passionate about creating positive working environments, she has also served as a Diversity & Inclusion Representative and Colleague Ambassador.
Outside of work, Tazrina loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys cooking and keeping busy at weekends with a variety of activities. She is also passionate about supporting charities close to her heart through volunteering, fundraising, and donating.
Kelly-Anne Coates, Senior Client Manager
Kelly-Anne has a strong background in financial services and has been with Crystal Clear Financial Services since October 2021. She has previously worked as a secured loans underwriter and a new business manager for an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Kelly-Anne is CeMAP qualified and is committed to delivering a high standard of customer service, always striving to exceed client expectations.
Outside of work, Kelly-Anne lives with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time exploring the South Coast, being thrill seekers at theme parks and going to the theatre with friends.
Lee Barber – Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Lee joined Crystal Clear Financial Services in November 2025. He brings over five years of experience in the mortgage industry. As a fully CeMAP qualified adviser, Lee has extensive knowledge in arranging a wide range of mortgage solutions.
Outside of work, Lee has a passion for travel and enjoys watching football, either cheering from the sidelines with his daughter on a Sunday or supporting his team on the TV. He also loves trips to the theatre and cinema.
Family life keeps him busy too, with three children and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Molly and Bailey, who often accompany him on countryside walks.
Vivek Khera – Protection Adviser
Vivek joined Crystal Clear Financial Services in February 2026. He brings a wealth of experience in working with clients to protect their most important assets, whether that is their family or their assets.
He works closely with the insurers, working to find solutions and provide protection and peace of mind to his clients.
Vivek lives with his wife and two young children and enjoys spending quality time with his family. Outside of work, he’s a keen runner and cyclist, never misses a Formula 1 race which he is happy to discuss if Ferrari are doing well. He loves travelling and taking on adrenaline-fuelled adventures, having completed both a bungee jump and a skydive, with more on the bucket list.
Heather Ayres – Business Co-ordinator
Heather joined Crystal Clear Financial Services in April 2024 in an administrative support role having previous experience in the banking sector. She values being part of the team and uses her organisational skills and attention to detail to help keep things running smoothly.
Heather lives with her husband, three children and two rescue cats. Heather regularly takes part in Parkrun at her local Bushy Park and is working towards achieving a personal best this year. In her spare time, she reads historical fiction and fits in theatre visits where possible.
